Job description:
- Advanced SharePoint Farm Administration skills in corporate environment with multiple site collections, sites and sub-sites.
- Advanced problem solving skills exhibited with proven record of interviewing users, investigation of code, hypothesis generation, testing and successful resolution.
- Evidence of successful execution of SharePoint site build-out following standards, guidelines and policies.
- Experience in Oncall rotation with proven success in achieving quick resolution.
- Knowledge of and experience enforcing SharePoint best practices and governance.
- Excellent communication skills in dealing with clients and software vendors. Proven experience in selling of innovative solutions.
- Time management skills utilized to effectively prioritize problem resolution tasks and project tasks.
- Proven documentation skills for system deliverables.
- Effectively utilizes productivity tools including SharePoint Administration tools, time reporting, change management, problem tracking, and MSOffice products.
- Training skills to enable knowledge transfer and client education on solutions, best practices and how-to*s.
- Proficiency with SQL Server and replication methods as it relates to SharePoint Administration.
- Experience with Monitoring tools and techniques such as Microsoft Operations Manager(MOM).
- Experience with security, Active Directory, authentication and authorization mechanisms including AD vs. SharePoint groups.
- Portal and Farm Administration experience, including Shared Services (in particular crawling and indexing for Search).
